Abigail Pierrepont Johnson was born on December 19, 1961, in Boston, Massachusett; She is the daughter of C Edward. (Ned) Johnson III, married to Christopher J. McKown (company president); study in Hobart and William Smith College, B.A., 1984; and Harvard University, MBA, 1988. Descended from an old family of the Brahmin of Boston whose roots in the trade date back to 1800. In 1946, his grandfather, Edward C. Johnson II, founded Fidelity Investments, as a firm of mutual funds.
